Róza Bene - Fiori Musicali Recorder Ensemble

17 January 2026. 6:00 pm
Budapest Music Center - Library
1093 Budapest, Mátyás utca 8.

The concert of Róza Bene and the Fiori Musicali Recorder Ensemble will offer a taste of the finest works of the English Early Baroque style. Through compositions that are an excellent representation of the music of the era, we will learn about the most typical instruments and apparatus of the period.
The keyboard works on the program are interpreted after years of research and performance practice. Another important instrumental repertoire of the period, consort music, will be represented by the Székesfehérvár-based recorder ensemble Fiori Musicali (Laura Orlik, Aporka Novák, Szironka Somogyi-Novák, Zsuzsanna Lits, Máté Erdei).
In addition to two large-scale consort works, two members of the ensemble, Laura Orlik and Aporka Novák will perform a cappella and harpsichord chamber works - in a performance of smaller genres of the period style - the variations and early sonatas.
